What is Bean Sort?

Bean Sort pours a chaotic mixture of colorful coffee beans into several tubes and gives you one deceptively peaceful mission: separate every color. The first few moves feel obvious, but careless stacking can quickly bury the bean you need beneath an immovable wall of bad decisions.

A new numbered puzzle is available each day, with Normal and Expert difficulty options. Your completion time becomes your score, so solving the puzzle is only half the battle—the real challenge is untangling the beans without wasting precious moves or seconds.

Bean Sort Game Rules (The Catch / The Trap)

Each tube begins with a stack of differently colored coffee beans. Your goal is to rearrange them until every occupied tube holds beans of only one color.

MIXED TUBES → LEGAL MOVES → COLOR STACKS → COMPLETE

To move beans:

• Tap a tube to pick up the bean or matching group at the top.
• Tap another tube to place the selected beans.
• You CAN place beans into an empty tube.
• You CAN place beans onto a tube whose top bean matches their color.
• You CANNOT place one color directly onto a different color.
• The puzzle ends when each color has been completely separated into its own tube.

Imagine three tubes displayed from top to bottom:

A: 🔵 🔵 🟢 🟠

B: 🟢 🟠 🔵 🟢

C: — EMPTY —

Moving the two blue beans from A into empty tube C is legal:

A: 🟢 🟠

C: 🔵 🔵

You can now add another blue bean to C, but an orange or green bean is FORBIDDEN until the blue stack has been moved elsewhere.

The trap is that empty tubes are your most valuable resource. Fill every open space too early and the puzzle can lock into a knot where the required colors remain buried beneath incompatible beans.

How To Play Bean Sort?

1. Inspect the stacks.
   Board Shows: several mixed tubes and one or more empty tubes.
   What You Learn: blue appears near the top of multiple stacks, making it a promising first color to collect.

2. Open a working space.
   Player Moves: 🔵 🔵 → EMPTY TUBE
   Game Response: the blue beans form a legal new stack and expose a green bean underneath.

3. Build a matching color.
   Move another top blue bean onto the blue tube.
   Result: 🔵 + 🔵 🔵 = 🔵 🔵 🔵
   Next Constraint: only more blue beans can enter that tube.

4. Recognize the trap.
   Player Move: fills the final empty tube with orange.
   Result: a buried green bean can no longer be reached without dismantling another stack.
   Response: undo or reroute the orange beans before the board becomes blocked.

5. Complete the separation.
   Continue shifting matching groups until every occupied tube displays one uninterrupted color. Your final time determines how strongly you perform.

Bean Sort Strategy & Tips

Treat empty tubes as temporary workspaces rather than permanent destinations. Before filling one, decide how the beans placed there will eventually move out—or whether that tube is intended to become a completed color stack.

Prioritize colors already exposed at the top of several tubes. Combining them creates space elsewhere and often reveals the deeper layers needed for your next sequence.

Avoid splitting a nearly complete color unless it releases several useful moves. In Expert mode, pause before every transfer and picture the next two or three steps; a legal move can still be strategically disastrous.
