eldGNR

eldGNR is a daily reverse-RNGdle ranking puzzle where you must sort five rolls from highest to lowest total EP. You get only five attempts, and every correctly placed roll becomes a valuable locked-in clue.

What is eldgnr?

eldGNR flips RNGdle backwards—literally and mechanically. Instead of focusing on a single random roll, the game throws five rolls in front of you and asks one deceptively simple question: which one is actually worth the most EP?

The catch is that appearances can fool you. Different badges and scoring effects can make two seemingly obvious rolls surprisingly difficult to compare. Your job is to build the complete order from highest total EP to lowest, using each failed attempt to squeeze more information out of the puzzle.

eldgnr Game Rules (The Catch / The Trap)

Each daily eldGNR puzzle gives you five rolls that need to be sorted by their total EP.

Think of the board like this:

Highest EP → [ Roll A ] [ Roll B ] [ Roll C ] [ Roll D ] [ Roll E ] → Lowest EP

The important rules are:

  • You must arrange all five rolls from highest EP to lowest EP.
  • You have a maximum of five attempts to solve the complete ranking.
  • After you submit an order, rolls that are in the correct position are confirmed and LOCKED IN.
  • A locked roll stays fixed, shrinking the number of possible arrangements for your next attempt.
  • The challenge is about relative ranking. You do not necessarily need to calculate every roll's exact EP if you can work out which rolls must sit above or below one another.

The trap is assuming that the roll that looks strongest must belong at the top. Badge combinations and EP scoring can produce unintuitive results, so visual instinct alone can send your ranking in the wrong direction.

How To Play eldgnr?

Step 1 — Inspect the five rolls

You begin with five different results:

Roll A Roll B Roll C Roll D Roll E

Look at their badges and overall strength, then form a rough ranking in your head.

Step 2 — Build your first order

Player Guesses:

A → C → E → B → D

You are saying that A has the highest EP, D has the lowest, and the others fall somewhere between them.

Step 3 — Submit and read the locked positions

Imagine the game confirms this:

A → ? → E → ? → ?

A and E were placed correctly, so those positions are now LOCKED IN.

What this means:

You no longer need to rethink the entire ranking. Only C, B, and D still need to be rearranged around the confirmed positions.

Step 4 — Use the new constraint

Your next attempt might become:

A → B → E → C → D

Submit again and see which additional positions lock. Every confirmation cuts down the remaining possibilities until there is only one valid order left.

Step 5 — Solve before attempt five

Continue rearranging only the unresolved rolls. Get all five positions correct within five attempts and the day's eldGNR puzzle is solved.

Strategy & Tips for eldgnr

Find the extremes first. If one roll looks unusually powerful or unusually weak, test it near the top or bottom. Locking an endpoint can simplify the entire puzzle.

Treat locked positions as hard constraints. Once a roll is confirmed, stop reconsidering it. Focus completely on the unresolved slots.

Compare pairs instead of calculating everything. You often do not need an exact EP total. Asking “Is Roll B stronger than Roll C?” can be much easier than working out both scores independently.

Use every failed ranking as information. eldGNR is not just about knowing the scoring system. It is a deduction game: each attempt should deliberately test a new ordering and reduce the number of possibilities left.
