## What Is Size It Up?

Size It Up is a size estimation game in which you resize an orange silhouette beside a teal reference object. The challenge is judging their real-world proportions: recognizing an object does not necessarily mean knowing how big it should look next to something familiar.

Classic covers everyday objects and structures. Two other daily games, Cosmic Scale and Prehistoric Giants, focus on space objects and extinct animals. Each daily puzzle contains five rounds, while Free play offers unlimited practice. You can play as a guest.

## Size It Up Rules and Core Twist

The teal object supplies the reference scale. Adjust the orange target by dragging, pinching or using the arrow keys until its size looks plausible beside that reference. You are estimating a physical dimension through a visual comparison.

Confirming reveals the true outline over your guess, together with the actual measurement and its source. This makes the error visible: you can see how much you enlarged or shrank the target beyond its correct proportions.

Each round awards up to **100 points**, for a maximum of **500 per daily puzzle**. Scoring depends on the ratio between your estimate and the correct size, so guessing double and guessing half are penalized equally. The site's scoring guide awards full marks for an estimate within 6%.

New daily puzzles arrive at midnight in your time zone. Free play and archive replays do not contribute to daily leaderboards or streaks.

## How to Play Size It Up

1. **Use the teal object as your ruler.** Read its reference measurement and compare it with the named orange target. Decide whether the target should be smaller, similar in size or several times larger.
2. **Resize the orange silhouette.** Drag or pinch to change its size, or use the arrow keys to adjust it. Watch the relationship between the two objects as you refine your estimate.
3. **Confirm your guess.** The game overlays the correct outline and reveals the real measurement, its source and your score. Compare the outlines to understand whether your estimate was too large or too small.
4. **Carry that feedback into the remaining rounds.** Make a new estimate for each comparison until you have completed all five. Judge each target against its own reference rather than relying on its apparent size on the screen.
