What is Catdle?

Catdle is the ultimate daily showdown for Battle Cats players — guess the secret cat unit of the day by comparing your guesses against it across a full lineup of attributes. No letter tiles here: every guess delivers crystal-clear side-by-side stats on rarity, form, role, traits, attack type, abilities, cost, and version.

The twist that makes it addictive? Wrong guesses don’t just eliminate options — they paint a sharper picture of the mystery unit. After 5 tries a hint reveals the unit’s origin (gacha, banner, stage). Nail it and you unlock bragging rights plus yesterday’s answer for extra nostalgia.

Catdle Game Rules (The Catch / The Trap)

You MUST guess real Battle Cats EN cat units (including special events). Collab units and eggs are excluded.

Each guess reveals exact comparisons across these attributes:

• Rarity & Form: Normal / Evolved / True / Ultra — exact or different.
• Role / Class: Melee Tanker, Sniper, Super-Backliner, etc. — exact match or miss.
• Traits: Aku, Alien, Angel, Floating, Metal, etc. — which ones match.
• Attack Type: Single, Area, Multi-Hit, Omni Strike, Long Range — exact or different.
• Abilities: Metal Killer, Savage Blow, Counter Surge, Base Destroyer, etc. — exact or absent.
• Cost: Exact match, ⬆️ way above, slightly above, ⬇️ slightly below, way below.
• Version: Exact, slightly newer, much newer, older.

Hint unlocks automatically after 5 unsuccessful tries (unit’s source origin). Daily puzzle resets at midnight. Endless mode available for unlimited practice.

How To Play Catdle?

Step 1: First Guess
Type or search any cat unit name (e.g., “Island Cat”).
Result: Attribute grid lights up with ✅ exact matches, ❌ differences, and arrows ⬆️⬇️ for cost/version.
What you learn: Narrow the pool — maybe it’s a rare Floating enemy specialist with medium cost.

Step 2: Smart Follow-Up
Pick a unit that tests new traits (e.g., “Bad Blaster Saki”).
Result: More ✅ and arrows appear; several traits lock in or get crossed out.
What you learn: Exact role and a couple of key abilities confirmed.

Step 3: Zero In
Use locked attributes to test close candidates (e.g., similar cost and version).
Result: Cost shows ⬇️ slightly below; version exact match.
What you learn: You’re one or two guesses from victory.

Step 4: Final Strike
Enter your reconstructed unit name.
Result: Full ✅ across the board = victory! The secret unit’s image, stats, and yesterday’s answer appear.

Step 5: Victory or Retry
Celebrate your Battle Cats mastery. Miss the daily? Try Endless mode or wait for tomorrow’s new unit.

Strategy & Tips

• Start broad with common units to quickly eliminate big categories like rarity and traits.
• Use cost and version arrows like a targeting system — they’re the fastest way to narrow thousands of units.
• After the 5-try hint, focus on the revealed origin (gacha/banner/stage) to slash possibilities.
• Play daily to memorize meta units and get faster — true Battle Cats veterans solve in 3-4 guesses.
