What is cutle?

cutle is a daily shape-cutting puzzle where the entire challenge comes down to one clean slice. A strange shape appears on screen, and your job is to drag a line through it so both sides are as evenly balanced as possible.

The twist is brutal in the best way: you only get one chance per day. There are no word grids, no trivia hints, and no second-guessing after the cut is locked in. It looks calm and minimalist, but the moment you release the line, your eye for symmetry goes on trial.

cutle Game Rules (The Catch / The Trap)

The goal of cutle is to cut the daily shape into two parts as close to a 50:50 ratio as possible.

The rules are simple, but the pressure is sharp:

• Click or touch and drag to draw your cut line.
• You can cut the shape from any angle.
• You only get one attempt per day.
• Your score is based on how evenly the shape is divided.
• A result of 48:52 or better counts as a win.
• A new shape appears every day at 00:00 UTC.

The trap is that your eyes lie. A shape may look balanced from one angle, but hidden curves, uneven bulges, and weird corners can quietly sabotage your perfect split. Once the line is released, the cut is LOCKED IN.

How To Play cutle?

Step 1 — Study the shape

Player Action: Look at the daily silhouette before touching anything.

Game Response: The shape waits silently, daring you to trust your geometry instincts.

What This Means: Check for heavy corners, wide curves, thin arms, or uneven sections before choosing your cut.

Step 2 — Choose your cutting angle

Player Action: Decide whether to slice vertically, horizontally, diagonally, or from an unexpected angle.

Game Response: No hint appears — this is pure visual estimation.

Next Constraint: The best-looking center line may not actually divide the area evenly.

Step 3 — Drag and release

Player Action: Click or touch, drag across the shape, then release to make the cut.

Game Response: cutle calculates the split ratio.

Strategy & Tips

• Do not trust the visual center. The middle of the bounding box is not always the middle of the shape’s area.
• Look for mass, not length. A long skinny section may matter less than a short wide bulge.
• Use diagonal cuts carefully. Diagonals can balance awkward shapes, but they can also overcorrect fast.
• Pause before releasing. Since cutle gives only one daily attempt, the final drag matters.
• Think like a sculptor. Imagine the shape as weight on both sides of your line, not just empty space on a screen.
