Lazy River is a daily grid-logic puzzle where you must draw one continuous river through every available cell. The route looks peaceful, but one careless connection can trap part of the grid or create a forbidden second loop.

What is Lazy River?
Lazy River is a daily path-drawing puzzle built around one deceptively gentle mission: guide a continuous river through every available cell of the grid and bring it back to where it began.
The current may be lazy, but your decisions cannot be. Every cell needs a way in and a way out, obstacles restrict the route, and closing the loop too early can strand an entire section of the board. The result is a calm-looking logic battle where every bend matters.

Lazy River Game Rules (The Catch / The Trap)
Your completed river must form one single closed loop through the grid.
cell → cell → cell → ... → starting cell
- The river travels between orthogonally adjacent cells: up, down, left, or right.
- Every available cell must be visited by the river.
- Each visited cell must have exactly two river connections: one entrance and one exit.
- The river CANNOT branch, fork, cross itself, or end in a dead end.
- Walls and island cells are blocked; the river must flow around them.
- You CANNOT create a smaller closed loop while unused cells remain outside it.
- Marking an edge with an
Xrecords that the river cannot pass between those two cells.
The main trap is the premature loop. A route can look perfectly connected and still fail because it closes before covering the rest of the grid.
How To Play Lazy River?

Inspect the shoreline
Board: Several open cells sit beside walls and outer edges.
Player Action: Look for cells with only two possible exits.
What You Learn: Both remaining connections are forced parts of the river.

Start the current
Player Draws:

Next Constraint: A completed cell cannot accept a third connection.

Lazy River Strategy & Tips
Begin with corners, narrow corridors, and cells pressed against obstacles. These locations usually have fewer possible connections and reveal forced moves faster than the open center of the grid.
Keep watching for two disasters: a cell receiving three connections and a partial route sealing itself into a loop. Before joining two long river sections, check whether that connection would trap untouched cells on the wrong side of the current.
