What is Smashdle?
Smashdle is a free daily guessing game built around Super Smash Bros. characters. Each day you try to find the hidden fighter using colored property feedback and optional alternate modes. It belongs to the same family of games as LoLdle and Pokedle.
Rules and core twist
In Classic mode you type fighter names and compare properties such as gender, species, universe, weight, platform of origin, and first Smash appearance. Green means an exact match, orange a partial match, and arrows show whether numeric values are higher or lower.
Other daily modes change the clue type:
- Quote — identify the character from in-game quotes
- Ability — guess from an ability-style icon clue
- Silhouette — recognize a silhouette that zooms out with each try
- Infinite — unlimited Classic-style rounds after the daily puzzle
Clues such as Final Smash name can unlock after several Classic guesses.
How to play
- Open smashdle.net and choose Classic (or another mode).
- Type any Super Smash Bros. character to start the grid of properties.
- Use green/orange tiles and arrows to narrow universe, weight, debut game, and more.
- Unlock clue panels if you need a Final Smash name or similar hint.
- Finish the daily modes, then try Infinite if you want more practice.
Tips
- Start with a well-known fighter that fills many property columns cleanly.
- Weight and first appearance are strong filters once universe is known.
- In Silhouette mode, early zoomed-in guesses still teach pose and outline cues.
- Challenger mode (when enabled) adds an extra difficulty twist on top of your clear.
