What is spiredle?
spiredle is a daily guessing game for Slay the Spire 2 fans, built around the kind of knowledge only true Spire climbers collect: cards, relics, potions, powers, and monsters. Instead of spelling a word, you are trying to identify the hidden Spire item by reading clues and eliminating the wrong paths.
The twist is that spiredle feels calm for about five seconds — then the deduction begins. A card name, a cost, a rarity, a character color, or a monster clue can suddenly become the difference between a clean solve and a doomed run. It is quick, fan-made, and perfect for players who enjoy turning game knowledge into a daily puzzle fight.
spiredle Game Rules (The Catch / The Trap)
The goal of spiredle is to solve the daily Slay the Spire 2 mystery in the selected category.
spiredle can test different parts of your Spire knowledge, including:
- Cards — guess the hidden card using clues such as name, rarity, type, cost, character/color, and keywords.
- Relics — identify the mystery relic from its clues.
- Potions — recognize the correct potion.
- Powers — test whether you remember ongoing effects and card identity.
- Monsters — prove you know the enemies waiting inside the Spire.
In card-style guessing, the clue board works like a combat log for your brain:
text Guess: Strike Name: Wrong Rarity: Compare Type: Compare Cost: Compare Character / Color: Compare Keywords: Match, miss, or partial clue
The catch is that every clue can help, but no single clue carries the whole run. A card may share a cost but have the wrong rarity. A relic may feel familiar but belong to the wrong effect pattern. A monster may sound obvious until the clue board quietly eliminates your favorite guess.
How To Play spiredle?
Step 1 — Choose a spiredle category
Player Action: Open spiredle and select a daily challenge such as Cards, Relics, Potions, Powers, or Monsters.
Game Response: The puzzle loads a mystery target from that category.
What This Means: You are not just playing Wordle with Spire words — you are entering a category-specific deduction fight.
Step 2 — Make a broad first guess
Player Guesses: Strike
Game Response: spiredle compares your guess against the hidden answer using available attributes such as cost, type, rarity, color, or keywords.
What This Means: Even a wrong guess gives structure. You now know which parts of that guess are useful and which are dead ends.
Step 3 — Follow the clue trail
Player Guesses: Defend
Game Response: Some clues may line up, while others push you away from that card family.
Next Constraint: If the cost matches but the type fails, keep the cost and abandon that type.
Step 4 — Narrow the Spire suspects
Player Guesses: Bash
Game Response: The board gets tighter: rarity, color, cost, or keywords now point toward a smaller answer pool.
What This Means: You are no longer guessing randomly — you are climbing toward the answer one clue at a time.
Step 5 — Lock in the mystery
Player Guesses: Anger
Game Response: If the clues finally match, the daily answer is revealed.
Result: Victory — the Spire has been survived for one more day.

Strategy & Tips
- Start with a well-known card or item. A familiar guess makes the clue feedback easier to interpret.
- Treat cost and type as major filters. In card puzzles, these clues can quickly remove huge chunks of the pool.
- Watch for partial keyword matches. Shared mechanics can point toward the right family even when the name is wrong.
- Think by category. Cards, relics, potions, powers, and monsters require different memory muscles.
- Do not panic after a bad first guess. In spiredle, a wrong answer is still useful if it eliminates enough of the Spire.
