What it is
Expandagram is a free daily word sprint. You receive a short starter sequence called a GRAM (usually three letters) and expand it into real words before the timer ends.
Rules / core twist
GRAM letters must stay in their original order inside every word, but you may insert letters before, between, or after them. Example pattern from Playlin's guide: P·N·D can become POND, EXPAND, or UNPLANNED. You get about one minute, each word scores once, longer words earn bonuses, and Shuffle GRAM offers a fresh sequence. A new GRAM drops daily.
How to play
- Open https://expandagram.com/ for today's GRAM.
- Keep the GRAM letters in order while adding letters around them.
- Enter as many valid words as you can within the 60-second round.
- Chase longer expansions for bonus points after banking easy short words.
- Shuffle if the first GRAM stalls you, then come back tomorrow for a new daily GRAM.
Tips
- Bank short obvious expansions first to build momentum.
- Scan prefixes/suffixes that commonly wrap the middle GRAM letters.
- Don't overfit one long word while the clock burns—volume plus a few long hits wins.
