What is Three Letters Game?
Three Letters Game is a timed browser word game. Each round supplies three letters, and you create one valid word that follows their order. Submit it to score points and move to the next round.
The first game each day uses the same Today's Letters sequence for players in that language. Scores depend on both the words you choose and how far you survive.
Three letters are constraints, not the whole word
Your word must start with the first letter. It must also contain the second letter before the third first appears. You can add other letters around them.
For example, with C → N → T:

The game also checks its dictionary. A plausible-looking string still needs to be a recognized word.
How to play Three Letters Game
- Choose your language, select Play (Today's Letters), and follow the username prompt on first play.
- Read the three tiles and find a word beginning with the first one.
- Type your answer, keeping the other two clue letters in the required order. Check the validity feedback.
- Press Enter, Return or Go to submit before time expires. A valid answer scores and advances the game; running out of time costs a life.
- Continue through new rounds until your three lives are gone, then review your score, best word and suggested better answers.
Timer, letter scores and bonuses
The first round lasts 60 seconds. The time allowance gradually decreases, reaching 30 seconds per round from round six onward. Invalid-letter feedback is a warning to fix the word; it does not itself mean that a life has been lost.
Letter values follow Scrabble-style scoring. For example, COUNT is worth seven points before bonuses: C is three and the other four letters are one each. Bonus squares can multiply letter or word scores; blank tiles score zero, and a fifteen-letter word earns an additional fifty points.
Daily play and practical tips
The daily sequence resets at local midnight. According to the official FAQ, extra random games are free on your first day; continued unlimited play afterward requires a paid unlock. Check the site for current pricing.
Keep a valid short word ready, then improve it only if there is time. Watch whether an extension introduces the third clue letter too early. If you need a break, finish the current round: the pause control takes effect between rounds.
