Flag Fill gameplay

What is Flag Fill?

Flag Fill shows a country flag with one region replaced by a transparent checkerboard. You know where the color belongs and can see the rest of the design; the challenge is remembering the exact missing shade.

It is a compact daily test of both flag knowledge and color accuracy. An archive lets you revisit missed dates without changing the current streak.

Flag Fill Game Rules

  • One section of the daily flag is hidden.
  • Use the color field, hue strip, quick swatches, or hexadecimal input to choose a replacement.
  • Submit the color once you are satisfied.
  • The game reveals the actual shade and awards 0–100 points by closeness.
  • Archive games are available separately and do not affect daily statistics or streaks.

How To Play Flag Fill?

  1. Identify the country: use the visible stripes, symbols, and layout.
  2. Name the missing family: decide whether the blank should be red, blue, green, yellow, white, black, or a less common shade.
  3. Tune the picker: set hue first, then compare saturation and brightness with the visible flag colors.
  4. Preview the fill: check whether the replacement looks natural inside the full design.
  5. Submit and compare: reveal the real color and read the score out of 100.

Flag Fill Strategy & Tips

Use the flag's remaining colors as a calibration reference. Official flag artwork often uses strong flat colors, but not every red is pure red and not every blue is fully saturated. If the emblem is detailed, zoom your attention out and judge the missing block as part of the whole composition.
