What is Hemiscope?
Hemiscope is a collection of seven browser puzzles. The hub lets you move between map knowledge, historical ordering, country statistics, riddles and ranking challenges. It also contains a country-guessing game named Hemiscope, so the collection and that particular game are worth distinguishing.

Which Hemiscope game should you choose?
| Game | Your task |
|---|---|
| Hemiscope Country | Identify a country using distance, direction and attribute clues. |
| Hemiscope Atlas | Place a marker near the capital of a named country. |
| Hemiscope Timeline | Insert historical events into chronological order. |
| Hemiscope Pinpoint | Estimate a country's position on five statistical scales. |
| Hemiscope Vault | Turn three riddle answers into a safe combination. |
| Hemiscope Ladder | Rank the displayed photo cards by the stated statistic. |
| Hemiscope Odd One Out | Pick the country that breaks the named rule. |
How to get started
- Choose a game from the collection page based on the kind of reasoning you enjoy.
- Open that game's How to play panel. Attempts, scoring and input methods differ across the collection.
- Complete its daily challenge, checking the board before committing a final answer.
- Review your result and share the spoiler-free output if you want to compare with friends.
- Return to All games for another puzzle, or use a practice option where that game offers one.
Building a daily routine
Start with one familiar subject, then add a contrasting puzzle. A map challenge followed by a riddle exercises a different kind of judgment from two country-statistics games in a row. If facts are not your strength, use the short rule panels to judge which format feels approachable before committing to a daily round.
The hub states that daily puzzles reset at local midnight and that progress and statistics are stored in the browser. Use the same browser and device if you want to retain that history; clearing local site data can remove it. Browser play does not require an account.
For geography fans, Country and Atlas offer especially different tests: eliminating possible countries is not the same skill as placing a capital accurately on a globe. Choose the experience you want rather than assuming that every Hemiscope game uses one common guessing system.
