What Is Krillion Unlimited?

Krillion Unlimited is the repeatable practice version of Krillion's rare-answer trivia format. Instead of stopping after the daily game, you can finish a dive and immediately choose Dive Again for another six-question session. The current mixed practice library contains 36 prompts across six subjects, with additional themed questions available separately.

The twist is that simply knowing a correct answer is not enough to maximize your score. Less obvious accepted answers are worth more knowledge points, so the game rewards players who can think beyond the first famous example that comes to mind. Each knowledge point represents 10 metres of depth, turning your score into an underwater descent.

Krillion Unlimited Rules and Core Twist

A normal Unlimited dive contains six questions, with 20 seconds for each question. Read the rule carefully, type one answer that fits it, and submit before time expires.

The main scoring idea is rarity:

  • A valid but very obvious answer usually produces a shallower result.
  • A less obvious valid answer can earn more knowledge points.
  • Practice scores are fixed rather than changing according to the current crowd.
  • Every accepted answer can include an explanation showing why it qualifies.
  • After six questions, you can start another Unlimited dive without waiting for a daily reset.

Questions cover subjects such as Geography, Science, Space, Culture, Sports, and Words, so success depends on broad knowledge rather than mastery of a single trivia category.

How to Play Krillion Unlimited

How to Play Krillion Unlimited

  1. Start an Unlimited dive. Choose a mixed game or select an available subject and begin the six-question round.
  2. Read the exact prompt. Check its category, date range, or membership rule before answering. You have 20 seconds.
  3. Think past the obvious choice. For example, if a Sports prompt asks for a men's FIFA World Cup champion within the stated historical range, a famous answer such as Brazil may be valid, but a less immediately obvious qualifying country such as Uruguay could produce a stronger score.
  4. Submit one valid answer. The game checks it against the prepared answer set and shows your fixed knowledge-point score and resulting depth.
  5. Complete all six questions and dive again. Review the results, then start another session. Questions can eventually repeat because the practice library is finite.

Strategy Tips for a Deeper Dive

Do not automatically submit your first thought. Krillion's scoring encourages answers that are correct but less obvious, so use a few seconds to mentally generate several possibilities before choosing one.

Respect the exact boundaries of the prompt. A rare answer is worthless if it falls outside the required dates, category, organization, or other stated rule.

Balance rarity with certainty. An unusual answer can be attractive, but a slightly more familiar answer you know is valid is often safer than gambling on something you only vaguely remember.

Learn from the reveals. Unlimited is especially useful as practice because you can replay dives, inspect why answers qualify, and gradually build a larger pool of uncommon responses for future rounds.
