militarydle is a daily guessing game where the target isn’t a word—it’s a piece of military hardware. Tanks, aircraft, ships, or weapons. Every guess reveals structured clues like country, type, era, and capabilities. It’s less about recognition… and more about deduction.

The real challenge is overlap. Many systems look similar on paper. A modern tank shares traits with another. A fighter jet might match the era but not the role. You’re not guessing randomly—you’re narrowing down a battlefield of possibilities.

  • Each guess reveals categories like:

    • Type (Tank / Aircraft / Ship / Weapon)
    • Era (Cold War / Modern)
    • Role (e.g. fighter, bomber, main battle tank)
• 🎨 Color Indicators:
  • 🟩 Correct match
  • 🟨 Partial / close match
  • ⬛ No match
• ⬆️⬇️ Directional Clues:
  • Some stats (like year or weight) may indicate higher/lower
• ⚠️ Limited Attempts:
  • You only have a set number of guesses to find the answer
• 🧠 The Trap:
  • Many systems share similar specs
  • Partial matches can mislead your next guess
  • One wrong assumption can send you down the wrong branch entirely

• Type: 🟩 Tank
• Era: 🟩 Match

What This Means: correct era, but wrong origin.

Step 4: Narrow the field
You now focus on modern US tanks beyond Abrams variants.

Step 5: Final guess

Result: ❌ Too old
