What is Nerdle?
Nerdle is a mathematical version of Wordle where players must guess a valid equation within 6 attempts. The game combines numbers, operators, and logical reasoning.
Each day features a new equation, and all players solve the same puzzle.
Nerdle Game Rules
- Objective: Guess an 8-character mathematical equation in 6 attempts
- Equation Format: Must be a valid equation in the format

- Operators: Can use

- Color Feedback:
- 🟩 Green — Correct digit/symbol in correct position
- 🟪 Purple — Correct digit/symbol in wrong position
- ⬜ Gray — Digit/symbol not in the equation
- Rules:
- Equation must be valid (e.g.,
12+34=46)
- Must follow order of operations (multiplication/division before addition/subtraction)
- Cannot start with 0 (unless it's 0 itself)
- Must contain one equals sign
