What is Rapid Liar?
Rapid Liar is a daily movie-quote game with six lines and three lies. You rank all six from the line you most confidently believe is fabricated to the one you most confidently believe is genuine.

This tests both recognition and confidence. Remembering that a line sounds like a character is weaker evidence than recalling the scene where it is spoken, and the ranking makes you decide which of your judgments is strongest.
Rank the whole set
The first position represents your most confident lie; the sixth represents your most confident truth. Place the less certain judgments between those extremes. Once the full ordering is ready, Lock ranking commits it for the reveal.
The result reports how many of the three lies you caught and shows your locked ranking. Your record also tracks confidence calibration, helping you see whether your strongest convictions are actually reliable across editions.
How to play
- Open today's edition, read the featured film, and choose Run it.
- Read all six quotes before placing your strongest suspected lie at the top.
- Rank the remaining lines, finishing with the quote you most trust at the bottom.
- Reconsider the uncertain middle positions; tap a ranked line to remove and reposition it when necessary.
- Lock the complete ranking and inspect the reveal and your daily result.
Recognition versus plausibility
A fabricated line can imitate a film's tone convincingly. Try to connect a candidate to a speaker, scene, or distinctive exchange instead of asking only whether it sounds cinematic. If you can place one line precisely but merely recognize another's style, that difference should affect your confidence.
Read closely for small substitutions too. Two versions of a sentence can feel equally familiar after you repeat them to yourself, so avoid turning a vague impression into certainty just by rereading it.
The archive offers the previous seven days, and first attempts count toward an edition's statistics. The site flags mature language, which is useful to know before playing movie quotations aloud or with younger players.
