The Core Relatle Rules
A Relatle puzzle begins with two musicians:
Starting Artist → Target Artist
Your current artist gives you a selection of related musicians. Choose one of them to move forward. That artist then becomes your new position and reveals another set of related musicians.
A route might look like this:
Starting Artist → Related Artist A → Related Artist B → Related Artist C → Target Artist
You cannot simply search for the target and jump directly to it. Every move must follow one of the related-artist options available from your current musician.
When the target artist appears among the available choices, select it to complete the puzzle. The fewer moves you use, the stronger your result.
How to Play Relatle
- Check the starting and target artists. Think about their genres, eras, audiences, collaborators, and musical scenes before making your first move.
- Choose a promising related artist. Pick an artist that seems more connected to the musical world of the target rather than simply choosing the most familiar name.
