Songdle Game Rules (The Catch / The Trap)

You get exactly 5 guesses to identify the mystery track. The catch is the ultra-short audio clip that plays on demand — just enough to hook you, never enough to give it away for free.

Type your guess as Artist - Song Title. The game instantly replies with color-coded truth:

• 🟩 Green = Spot on. You crushed it — exact artist and title locked in.
• 🟨 Yellow = Close! You might have nailed the artist (or the vibe is very similar).
• 🟥 Red = Way off. Wrong artist, wrong era, wrong everything — time to pivot.

Unique gamemodes (Normal or Samples) and filters let you tune the challenge. No hints, no lifelines — just you, the clip, and the clock ticking on your guesses.

How To Play Songdle?

Step 1: Pick Your Battlefield
Choose Normal mode or the wild Samples mode, set any filters, then hit Play. The game loads a fresh mystery track.

Step 2: Listen to the Evidence
Click the play button on the short audio clip. It loops as needed — soak in every beat, lyric fragment, or instrumental hook.

Step 3: Drop Your First Guess
Type something like "Lil Mosey - Blueberry Faygo" and submit.
Game Response: 🟨 Yellow feedback lights up.
What This Means: Correct artist — you're in the right ballpark!

Step 4: Adjust & Strike Again
Refine based on the clue. New guess: "Lil Mosey - Not You".
Game Response: 🟥 Red.
What This Means: Wrong song — time to think of other Lil Mosey tracks or pivot artists.
