Spectra

Spectra
Spectra is a daily RGB deduction puzzle where each color channel hides a digit from 0 to 9. Crack all three values in six guesses using exact, close, far, and higher-or-lower feedback.

What is Spectra?
Spectra turns a hidden color into three small number puzzles. Red, green, and blue each use a secret digit from 0 to 9, and every guess tells you how far each channel is from its target.
Because feedback is separate for all three channels, one guess can lock the red value while sending green higher and blue lower. The visible color becomes more useful as the numerical range narrows.
Spectra Game Rules
- Choose one digit from 0–9 for each of the R, G, and B channels.
- You have six guesses to make all three values exact.
- Green means the channel digit is correct.
- Yellow means the digit is within two of the answer.
- Gray means it is farther away, while an arrow shows whether the secret value is higher or lower.
- A new hidden color appears each day.
How To Play Spectra?
- Start near the middle: a balanced first guess such as 5–5–5 splits all three ranges.
- Read each channel separately: keep an exact digit and follow the arrow on every unresolved value.
- Use distance: make a smaller step after a Close result and a larger step after a Far result.
- Watch the swatch: check whether the evolving RGB mix visually supports the numerical clues.
- Lock all three: turn every channel green before the sixth row.
Spectra Strategy & Tips
Treat the puzzle as three parallel binary searches. Do not change a green value, and do not waste a close clue by jumping across the entire range. When two digits remain possible, the displayed color can help decide which side better matches the hidden shade.
