What Is VTuble?
VTuble is a browser-based guessing game built around VTubers. Instead of identifying a word, country, or sports player, you search a large roster of virtual creators and try to determine which VTuber is the hidden target.
The main Classic mode is designed as a daily puzzle. VTuble also has an Encyclopedia containing VTubers from agencies and independent creators, making the game especially appealing to players who already follow Hololive, NIJISANJI, VShojo, Phase Connect, indie VTubers, and the wider VTuber scene.
VTuble has expanded beyond its original daily format with an Infinite mode for additional rounds and a Reverse mode that reveals information about the target as you make guesses.
The Core VTuble Twist
Each submitted VTuber acts as a probe. VTuble compares attributes of your guess with the mystery VTuber, and the resulting feedback helps you eliminate candidates.
Two confirmed clue categories are Hair Color and Theme/Species. Theme/Species covers broad character concepts such as Hominid, Supernatural, Construct, and Flora / Fauna, with more specific subcategories beneath them.
A simplified example might look like this:

The goal is therefore not simply to recognize a portrait. Each wrong guess can provide useful information for the next one.
How to Play VTuble
- Choose Classic from the VTuble home page. Classic is the main daily challenge, with one target to identify and a streak system for successful days.
- Search for a VTuber and submit your first guess. If you have no good opener, the game also provides a random-guess option that can generate a starting set of clues.
- Read the attribute comparison carefully. Look for traits that match the target and traits that clearly rule your guessed VTuber out. Hair color and Theme/Species are particularly useful for reducing the search space.
- Choose a second VTuber that tests your remaining possibilities. Do not simply guess another favorite character; use someone whose attributes can confirm or reject a theory.
- Repeat until you identify the target. After finishing the daily puzzle, VTuble shows a countdown toward the next one. Players who want more rounds can switch to Infinite mode.
Other VTuble Modes
Infinite removes the once-per-day limitation and is the best choice if you mainly want to practice VTuber recognition or keep playing after finishing the daily puzzle.
Reverse is an experimental limited-time mode introduced in September 2026. It uses a separate VTuber pool from Classic and reveals new information about the target after each guess, changing the deduction rhythm from the standard game.
Streak tracking is mode-specific, while Infinite mode does not use the regular streak system.
Strategy Tips
Start with a VTuber whose traits you know well. A familiar character makes the first comparison easier to interpret than an obscure name chosen at random.
Treat every guess as an information-gathering move. If you already know the target is not Hominid, for example, guessing several more Hominid characters wastes opportunities to test other Theme/Species groups.
Hair color can be a powerful filter because VTuble compares named colors rather than relying only on approximate image similarity. Once a hair-color clue lines up, combine it with the species/theme information instead of considering every VTuber with that color.
Use the built-in Encyclopedia when unfamiliar names or agencies appear. It organizes a broad roster of VTubers by company and distinguishes current and former members, which is useful both for learning the database and for becoming better at future puzzles.
VTuble is best suited to players who enjoy daily deduction games and already know at least some VTubers. Newcomers can still play, but much of the satisfaction comes from gradually turning fandom knowledge and attribute clues into a precise final guess.
