What is Haggle?
Haggle is a daily price-estimation game. A round presents five products, and you judge what each costs. Your result depends on how close your estimates are to the prices used by the game.
How to play Haggle
- Select Play today's round from the home page.
- Inspect the product image and the information shown with it.
- Enter a price estimate in the currency displayed by the game and submit it.
- Compare your estimate with the revealed price and its closeness feedback.
- Finish all five products, then review or share the day's result.
Understanding price accuracy
The official help panel describes percentage error as the basis of scoring, with extra recognition for very close estimates. Its feedback tiers range from Jackpot for an estimate within 5% to Way Off for an error above 50%. Consult the in-game panel for the full scoring treatment.
Percentage error makes the price scale matter. As a simple example, being $10 away from a $20 item is a much larger relative error than being $10 away from a $200 item. These are illustrative amounts, not prices or answers from today's round.
Tips for making better estimates
First classify the item: a basic accessory, a specialized tool and a premium fashion product should not all begin with the same mental price range. Then examine material, size, quantity and any brand information that is actually visible. A multipack can resemble a single product in a small image, so read its description before deciding.
Choose a plausible range and narrow it, rather than jumping immediately to a precise number. If the result surprises you, identify which assumption caused the miss. You may have underestimated the size, confused a premium version with a basic one, or relied on an old remembered price.
