What is Hidden Mirrors?

Hidden Mirrors presents a highlighted geometric pattern and challenges you to rebuild it on a grid. You can place tiles individually, but the real weapon is the Flip: a directional gesture that reflects and duplicates everything you have already filled.

That mechanic creates the game’s central illusion. Large, complicated targets may have grown from one tiny seed through a clever sequence of reflections, but the original shape is almost invisible inside the finished pattern. A new puzzle arrives each day, inviting you to hunt for the hidden symmetry rather than simply paint every square manually.

Hidden Mirrors Game Rules (The Catch / The Trap)

Your goal is to make the filled tiles match the highlighted target pattern exactly.

TAP A SEED → FLIP THE SHAPE → MODIFY IT → FLIP AGAIN → MATCH TARGET

You have two main actions:

• Tap: Fill one individual tile on the grid.
• Flip: Swipe on mobile or click and drag on desktop to reproduce the current filled region as a mirror image.

A simple transformation might look like this:

Every active tile can become part of the next reflection. That means the order of your actions matters: tapping one new square before a Flip may cause that square to multiply across the board.

The final arrangement MUST match the target. Extra tiles are not harmless decoration, and a reflection aimed in the wrong direction can reproduce an error several times over.

Efficient solutions favor Flips over repeated Taps. The game tracks both actions, rewarding players who discover the compact mirrored construction instead of manually filling every tile.

How To Play Hidden Mirrors?

1. Study the final pattern.
   Target Shows: two matching clusters on opposite sides of the grid.
   What You Learn: the clusters were probably created by a reflection rather than separate taps.

2. Plant the smallest useful seed.
   Player Action: tap two neighboring tiles near the center.
   Current Shape: ■ ■

3. Create the first mirror.
   Player Action: swipe downward.
   Game Response: the two-tile shape is reflected beneath itself, forming a four-tile block.

4. Add a pivot and flip again.
   Tap one exposed edge tile, then drag in the required direction.
   Result: the modified cluster reproduces across the grid and suddenly resembles the highlighted target.

5. Check the battlefield.
   Result: TARGET FILLED | NO EXTRA TILES | PUZZLE SOLVED
   Review your Tap and Flip totals to see how efficiently you uncovered the hidden construction.

Hidden Mirrors Strategy & Tips

Do not begin by filling isolated target squares. First search for repeated clusters, matching edges, diagonal echoes, and shapes that appear to be reversed versions of one another. Those are signs that a Flip can replace several expensive Taps.

Think backward from the completed image. Ask what smaller pattern could have been reflected to create the largest symmetrical section, then determine which extra tiles must have been added before the next Flip.

Board edges can also be useful because mirrored tiles that would fall outside the playable area may be clipped away. A strange half-pattern near an edge may therefore be intentional rather than incomplete.
