What is It's Wordy?
It's Wordy is a daily vocabulary game in which the point values of letters change from day to day. Spell valid English words, collect their scores, and improve a six-word pyramid with bronze, silver, and gold finds.
Everyone receives the same daily values. A word that was excellent yesterday may be less useful today, so the interesting decision is how to turn the current high-value letters into words you actually know.
Letter values and the pyramid
A word's value is the sum of its letters. Check the color/value legend above the board instead of assuming familiar Scrabble values apply. The tutorial sets an initial goal of six bronze words; silver and gold finds improve the pyramid further.
The pyramid is the game's way of presenting your collection. You enter words through the keyboard and submit them, then inspect the resulting score and tier. Tap a word you have found to read its definition.
How to play
- Open today's puzzle and inspect the point-value legend and the keyboard colors.
- Think of a valid English word that uses some of today's valuable letters.
- Type it and choose Submit. Read the score and where it fits in your pyramid.
- Find enough qualifying words to fill the six slots, then look for stronger silver or gold additions.
- Review your completed pyramid, explore definitions, and share or compare your daily result.
Judge the whole word
As an invented scoring example, if a word contains letters worth 1, 3, 2, and 4, its total is 10. Replacing one candidate with a longer word is only helpful when the extra letters and their current values actually improve its score. The example illustrates addition; it is not today's value table or a guaranteed accepted answer.
Try familiar word families when you get stuck. A related noun, verb, or ending may use the valuable letters differently, but the game's dictionary still decides whether a submission is valid. Keep checking the board rather than assuming every variation will count.
