What is Mathler?
You’re given the answer… but not the equation.
Mathler flips the classic guessing formula on its head. Instead of solving for a result, you already know it. Your challenge is to reverse-engineer the exact equation that produces that number. Every guess brings you closer—not just through numbers, but through structure, logic, and precision.
This is where math meets strategy. It’s not about calculating fast—it’s about thinking smart. Every digit, every operator, every position matters.

Mathler Game Rules (The Catch / The Trap)
- 🔢 You are given a target number (e.g., 18).
- ✍️ You MUST guess a valid equation that equals that number.
- ➗ Allowed elements: digits (0–9) and operators (+, −, ×, ÷).
- 🎯 Each guess must evaluate to the target result.
- 🎨 Feedback system:
- 🟩 Correct number/operator in the correct position
- 🟨 Correct number/operator in the wrong position
- ⬜ Not in the equation
Example:
Target: 18
Guess: 12+6
Feedback:
1 2 + 6
🟩 ⬜ 🟨 🟩
- 1 is correct and in place
- 2 is not used

The trap?
- Every guess MUST equal the target—you can’t probe randomly.
- You’re solving BOTH the math AND the pattern.

How To Play Mathler?
Step 1: Read the Target

You need an equation that equals 24.
Step 2: First Guess
Player Guesses: 12+12
Result: Some greens, some yellows
What This Means: Right numbers… maybe wrong structure.
Step 3: Adjust Strategy
Player Guesses: 6×4
Result: Fewer matches
What This Means: Different approach needed—operators matter.
Step 4: Refine Precision
Player Guesses: 8×3
Result: 🟩🟩🟩🟩 → ✅ Correct!
Step 5: Reflection
