What is Petalgrams?
Petalgrams is a daily word-building game with a changing set of letters. Each flower contains a required center letter, and a pangram uses every letter currently available. The puzzle grows as you advance, ending at a ten-letter flower.

How to play Petalgrams
- Inspect the flower's letters and identify the center letter that every word must contain.
- Type a word or select its letters, then press Enter. You may reuse letters.
- Aim for a pangram that uses every available letter. Finding one advances the flower; enough ordinary words can also fill the progress meter and advance it.
- Read the new flower carefully. The added letter becomes the next center letter, so the requirement changes.
- Keep progressing until you complete the ten-letter flower, then share the bouquet you earned.
Pangrams, hints and scoring
Pangrams score their length multiplied by the current pangram multiplier. Other accepted words score their length, fill the meter and trade one multiplier point for a hint toward the pangram. A quick ordinary word therefore helps you progress, but can reduce the value of a later pangram.
For a practice example, a flower using A, L, P and E with P at the center would allow APPLE as a pangram: it includes all four letters and repeats P. That illustrates the letter rule, rather than supplying an answer to a current flower.
Tips for growing a better bouquet
Before submitting a short word, spend a moment testing a longer structure. Repeated letters make more possibilities available than a conventional anagram rack, where each tile can usually be used only once.
Try building around the least flexible letter, then check that every other letter has appeared. Shuffle the flower when its layout starts suggesting the same failed idea. After advancing, restart your mental checklist around the new center; a word that worked on the previous flower may no longer qualify.
The reward flowers distinguish different solving routes, including finding a pangram first on a level. An all-pangram run earns the special perfect bouquet. Players who enjoy Spelling Bee-style word discovery will recognize the vocabulary challenge, while the expanding flower supplies a different daily goal.
