Wordle

Wordle is the viral daily word puzzle where you have six tries to guess a hidden five-letter word using color-coded feedback. Simple to start, brutally tricky to master, it’s a daily brain duel against the English language.

What is Wordle?

Five letters. Six guesses. One answer.

Wordle looks deceptively simple—but it’s a daily battle of logic, vocabulary, and deduction. Each guess gives you just enough information to move forward… or completely mislead you. The twist? Every player in the world is solving the exact same word each day.

There’s no timer. No pressure—until there is. Because every guess you make locks in new constraints, shrinking your possibilities. It’s not about knowing big words. It’s about thinking like a puzzle solver.

Wordle Game Rules (The Catch / The Trap)

Every guess returns color-coded feedback that defines your next move:

  • 🟩 Green (Correct Spot) → This letter is EXACTLY right and LOCKED IN.
  • 🟨 Yellow (Wrong Spot) → This letter exists in the word, but NOT here.
  • Gray (Not in Word) → This letter is ELIMINATED entirely.

Key constraints:

  • You MUST guess valid 5-letter English words.
  • You have EXACTLY 6 attempts—no more.
  • Letters CAN repeat, but the game won’t always make that obvious.
  • Every guess is information—but also a commitment. Bad guesses waste precious turns.

The trap? Early confidence can kill you. A word that looks “close” might still be completely wrong.

How To Play Wordle?

Step 1: Start with a balanced guess
Player types: CRANE
Result: 🟩⬛🟨⬛⬛
What this means: C is correct, A exists but in the wrong spot, R/N/E might be wrong.

Step 2: Refine using feedback
Player tries: CANDY
Result: 🟩🟩⬛⬛⬛
What this means: CA is locked in, but N, D, Y are eliminated.

Step 3: Narrow possibilities
Player guesses: CABLE
Result: 🟩🟩⬛⬛🟩
Now you know: C A _ _ E, with B/L eliminated.

Step 4: Final deduction
Player guesses: CACHE
Result: 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
Solved. Clean. Efficient.

Strategy & Tips

  • Open strong: Use words with common letters (A, E, R, S, T).
  • Don’t tunnel vision: If stuck, try a completely different word to gather info.
  • Track eliminated letters: Gray tiles are just as valuable as green ones.
  • Watch for repeats: Double letters are a classic trap.

Wordle isn’t about luck. It’s about surviving uncertainty—and making each guess count.
